God had the power to have Jesus come down from the cross to save him. But it was the measure of His love for us to leave Jesus there. He did not give into the worlds plan for Jesus, but stayed committed to His plan so His promises to us would be filled. Jesus had the same measure of love for us by staying on the cross and walking the path set for him by God. Now that's a REAL LOVE STORY.
